"No Topping Technology" Has Achieved Initial Results In Inner Mongolia Cotton Trial

This year, the agricultural technology station of Inner Mongolia and Boox county introduced cotton free topping new technology and carried out experimental demonstration. Up to now, cotton "no topping technology" experiment has achieved initial success.

According to the field effect, chemical topping and artificial topping control the unlimited growth of cotton growing point.

Chemical topping prevents the leaves from becoming bigger after artificial topping, and solves the disadvantages of cotton's comprehensive pmittance.

After chemical topping, the leaves are delicate and the control of leaf buds is good, which can effectively change the ventilation and light pmission in the middle and later stages.

No topping is a fluorine ammonia spray technology. Fluorine ammonia is a plant bud inhibitor, which mainly controls the cells of the top young parts of cotton, and inhibits cell elongation, so that the top of cotton is automatically capped, the top leaves are lobulated, and the tip of the cluster is well controlled, which effectively improves the ventilation and light pmission conditions of cotton, and enables effective nutrition to pform into reproductive growth.

Chemical topping not only reduces labor intensity, solves the problem of scratching and shedding of leaves and bells, shortens the topping time, but also increases production in large areas.

If no topping technology test can be successfully promoted, it will play a major role in cotton production management in the middle and later stages.
