Recently, a modern cotton storage and logistics center ("Cotton Valley" in the middle) project of Qirun cotton storage warehouse located in Qianjiang Garden Industrial Park in Hubei Province is under construction. The person in charge of Hubei Qirun Central Cotton Trading Market Co., Ltd. said that the company uses the most advanced warehousing technology in the world and is the largest, highest grade and most comprehensive cotton warehousing and logistics center in central China.

It is understood that the top insulation system of the warehouse is completely imported from the United States, and the scorching sun can not penetrate. The cotton storage warehouse always maintains a constant temperature of 22 ℃. Even if the outdoor sun burns the ground, entering the warehouse will make you feel cool all over. The warehouse floor is made of wear-resistant emery, and metal collision will not produce sparks. The frame of the warehouse body is made of special refractory materials. The only equipment with electricity in the warehouse is the monitoring camera and the electric door. If you want to enter the warehouse, you need to go through two inspections and have a special pass. The person in charge of the company said that this was to strictly guard the security system, and no kindling could enter the storage area.

The project has an investment of 1.2 billion yuan and a storage capacity of 350000 tons. It was put into production in December last year and has become the agent storage for cotton storage in China, with an annual turnover of more than 6 billion yuan. The whole project will be completed by next year, but the current storage volume is the largest in central China.

The annual cotton consumption of Hubei Province is about 1.2 million tons, while the cotton output is only 500000 tons. The rest needs to be transported from Xinjiang, and the freight is expensive. After the completion of Qirun cotton storage warehouse, cotton storage enterprises such as Zhongchu Cotton will transport cotton from Xinjiang to Hubei for storage, and the freight will be borne by the state. Cotton spinning enterprises can directly purchase cotton from Qianjiang, saving more than 60% of the freight. After the completion of the trading market, 700000 tons of cotton can be provided a year, which can meet nearly 60% of the cotton demand in Hubei Province. (
