Encyclopedia of China Third Edition household

The compilation of the branch was led by the China Household Textile Industry Association. Yang Zhaohua, President of the home textiles branch, is the deputy editor in chief of the school of textile engineering, Soochow University.

The Textile Engineering Society of China organized the second meeting of the third edition of the Chinese encyclopedia edition of the discipline of textile science and Engineering in Wuxi, and made clear the specific work of the third edition of the Encyclopedia of China.

In accordance with the requirements of the conference, the household textile branch held its first working conference in Shanghai in August 10th.

At the meeting, the experts and professors of each association wrote the requirements according to the encyclopedia entry, and discussed the first draft of the classification of household textiles in the expert forum held by the home textile association in August 7, 2015. The household textile branches were classified into five categories: bedding, woolen cloth, decorative fabrics, carpets and other household textiles. The classification principles of all kinds of purposes were sorted out, making the entry classification more rigorous and scientific.

The meeting decided to set up a working group in five main categories, consisting of professors from tertiary institutions and industry experts, and will be held in 2016 China International in August 27th.

During the exhibition (Autumn), a working group plenary meeting was convened. We sincerely hope that all experts who are interested in home textile industry will take an active part in this glorious and arduous task.
