H&M Collaborated With South African Fashion Designers To Deepen The South African Market

H&M, a well-known clothing chain in Sweden, said recently that it will cooperate with PalesaMokubung, a local clothing designer in South Africa, to sell the brand Mantsho created by the designer in 2004, and welcomes the SouthAfricaClothingandTextileWorker dress sUnion.

The trade union said that foreign clothing brands H&M, Zara and CottonOn gradually expand the South African market share and squeeze out local brands.

After the H&M and Mokubung cooperation, the trade union will provide South Africa's local qualified manufacturers to supply Mantso brand clothing.

This cooperation is the first time that H&M has sold South Africa's clothing in 23 chain stores in South Africa. Apart from South Africa, Mantsho brand clothing will also be sold in H&M, retail outlets in the United States, Britain, France, Spain, Belgium, Mexico, Chile and Israel, bringing new hope for South African local textile and garment factories.
