The expert team first went to Pingliang Town, Hanyin county to carry out research. In the demonstration base of xinglongjiayuan sericulture professional cooperative, Liu Jiping picked the diseased leaves on site and shared with the students the diagnosis methods and harmfulness of mulberry diseases. Liu Jiping pointed out that near the beginning of winter, bacterial diseases such as mulberry blight and fungal diseases such as brown spot are more frequent. For such diseases, carbendazim or silkworm rearing disinfectants can achieve good control effect. If mulberry blight is found in sericulture season, the diseased plants should be removed and treated in a centralized way, and the infected mulberry leaves should be sprayed with antibiotics to prevent the disease from spreading further. The concept of "silkworm medicine and mulberry use" was put forward by Professor Liu Jiping, who summarized the theory of silkworm diseases and insect pests prevention and control for many years, and combined with the actual production. It has been proved to be effective in the production practice of many silkworm areas in China.

In the training class for sericulture farmers, Liu Jiping made a report on the three themes of "construction of high quality and efficient mulberry garden", "mulberry cultivation management and pest control technology", "special training of" Jinzhi Huinong "sericulture and traditional Chinese medicine planting technology", and introduced the main symptoms and control methods of common silkworm diseases to sericulture farmers, To guide the rapid diagnosis of silkworm diseases and identify the authenticity of silkworm drugs in circulation on the market. Liu Jiping's technical guidance is widely recognized and welcomed by sericulture farmers.

On October 28, Liu Jiping, together with the director of Shaanxi ecological mulberry comprehensive experimental station of national sericulture industry technology system and Professor Su Chao of northwest agricultural and Forestry University of science and technology, went to the mulberry garden of sericulture professional cooperative in Zhangtan Town, Hanbin District, Ankang City to carry out winter management and disease investigation. In view of the serious situation of brown spot and anthracnose in mulberry garden, Liu Jiping pointed out that when mulberry garden was closed and disinfected in winter, silkworm room should be used for disinfection, silkworm drugs or disinfectant should be used for comprehensive disinfection of mulberry garden, mulberry leaves should be cleaned and destroyed in time, and the diseased plants should be sprayed with Carbendazim and thiophanate methyl alternately.

It is reported that this year, the Wuping sericulture professional cooperative in Hanyin county has a good harvest in late autumn, with an average cocoon yield of more than 100 Jin, an output value of more than 2500 yuan, and a total output value of more than 250000 yuan. Cai Qing, head of the xinglongjiayuan sericulture cooperative in Pingliang Town, said that this year, a farmer's last batch of cocoons earned more than 150000 yuan.
