Wilson Wilson 3D Printing "Airless" Basketball Design
After the famous sports brand Wilson first demonstrated the first 3D printed "airless" basketball in the NBA All Star Game last year, it finally ushered in the mass production release recently.
This 3D printing "airless" basketball is named "Airless Gen1". Compared with the prototype, it has a more advanced grid design to ensure more consistent bounce performance. The production process is also specially simplified to increase productivity, and customized services such as labels and color matching are introduced. Kevin Murphy, general manager of Wilson Sports, mentioned in the statement: "With the release of the Airless Gen1 basketball, Wilson has gone to a place where no brand has ever arrived in the past, and this basketball has further stimulated the sports innovation of the next generation."
It is reported that, Weir Sheng "Airless Gen1" Airless Basketball It is expected to be launched on Wilson's official website from February 16, with a price of $2500.
